The Graduate Diploma is a vocational course aimed at securing jobs for students in broadcast journalism.
Taught by current and former broadcast journalists with extensive experience in the BBC and the commercial sector, the course is the only one of its kind in Scotland accredited by the industry training body, the BJTC.
The programme has extensive, on-going links with the industry in Scotland and operates an established work-placement scheme.
It has an excellent employment record – take a look at the former students category.
Students work in a purpose-built radio studio complex at the university’s Hamilton campus and use industry-standard radio and television digital editing packages. On the course you will also be taught how to operate camera equipment and online technology.
